Amrish Puri plays Thakral, a top-level but cruel lawyer who proves the innocent Deepak Verma (played by Girish Karnad) guilty. As Thakral wished, Deepak Verma is sentenced to death on a false charge of murder. The repercussions are disastrous. Deepak's wife Aarti goes into a trauma and is consigned to a mental asylum. But to avenge the injustice done to his parents, Arun (played by Anil Kapoor)works hard to become an advocate. |
