Charas - A Joint Effort is an action-thriller set against the backdrop of narcotics running. The film begins with the dissapearance of a English youth in the picturesque but dangerous locales of Kulu Manali. A Scotland Yard detective of Indian origin investigates the dissapearance but opens up a deadly can of worms that involves a drug-running racket operated by powerful political and police forces both in England and India.
